I find it so hard to believe that no one has reviewed the New England Review on Amazon. This is an brilliant, well written journal for fiction and non-fiction. The poetry is just middle of the road, although I have found some new pet poets owing to NER, so it’s not all terrible. The tales are not New England centric, so don’t worry if you live in another area of the country or abroad. This is a fantastic magazine to curl up with in bed or to set on your coffee table. Give it a try and you’ll never go back to the mass-marketed fiction that is inexplicably well loved today.
